Here's our little guy! He was born Thursday, January 24, at 5:28 pm, weighing 7lbs. 4oz. and 20.5 inches long. I started contractions the afternoon before and didn't progress hardly at all for almost 24 hours. When I went to the hospital on Thursday at 2:30 I had dialated to only a 5, but 2 hours later at 4:30 I wasn't even quite dialated to a 6. My doctor told me to walk the hallway for just a little bit while she went to quickly help with a c-section, then she'd come back and break my water. So a little after 5:00 Scott and I took a walk down the hallway and not even 10 minutes into it, my water broke. I immediately couldn't walk (the baby's head was pushing down) and luckily my nurse was nearby and her and Scott lifted me into a wheelchair and ran me back to my room. Four minutes later (and just 2 pushes) Benjamin was born. My doctor barely made it! Scott has nicknamed Benjamin "Speedy!" He's a sweet baby and the girls are showering him with lots of love!

He is very alert and looks intently at us already.

Again, we are very excited for you guys and congratulations. He's cute and I'm afraid he might grow out of the american doll bathtub a little too quickly to get much use out of it!

Yeah, Benjamin! Welcome to the world! He's so cute, but I can't tell who he looks like. Guess we just need to meet him in person. Give him a kiss for us!

aww what an adorable litte boy. Speedy-a very creative name like always haha. Now what are your kids names.. Scobby, Squeaky, Speedy and fuzzy?..what's Clara's? If that is it why is it an F where the others are S's???
He is so cute. I'm glad he's here and that his birth went well. I can't wait to see him. Congratulations Jaime and Scott.
