The New Year So Far...

So, no baby yet and I've done everything to be ready which means I have no excuse now for not updating my blog. Thanks to Shiara's "gentle prodding" I am including pictures of me which I have never added to this blog (on purpose). They don't show my pregnant belly too well so since it seems Benjamin's in no hurry to join our family I may even have time to get a better one posted for you! This is a picture from my birthday - the girls made a cute birthday banner and decorated the kitchen for my special dinner (take out from PF Chang's)!

Ok, so this one looks more like a picture of our remodeling efforts, but it's a shot of a cute play (with props) that the girls wrote and performed for Grandma and Scott and I all about a frog who loses his lily pad. This is the only full length picture I have of myself...sorry Shiara!

Here's a few pictures I just liked...

I used some of my early Christmas money from mom to buy prelit garland for our porch. So much easier! Scott came home that night and declared our house "a real home" now.

We gave these pajamas to Clara this Christmas more as a joke because of what they say...maybe she'll try living up to them. I have to say I do see improvements in her lately so maybe they're working!

New Year's Day was a lot of fun! We went out to a movie as a family and made this cute snowman. Later, the girls decided to try helping Clara sled down our "hill" (a pile of top soil from the landscapers) in an old laundry basket. They worked really hard to pull her up the hill for the split-second ride down!

Your house looks great! And where is baby Benjamin?! Shiara, if you're reading this, we're all expecting a prego picture of YOU when you're 9 months pregnant! Can't wait to see pictures of the little guy!

Jaime--your house looks gorgeous from the outside. I got teary eyed just looking at it...I miss you!

Oh Jaime, you're still so pretty. Your face doesn't show it at all! I do see a cute belly, but I guess the baby has to live somewhere, eh?

Don't worry, I'm not scared to post prego pictures. So, in a few months you can 'gently prod' me for them! ;)

First of your house looks amazing, classy and gives me that "warm home" feeling. I love it! Your hair is cute, it looks shorter. Good luck with the whole labor deal. I'm sure Benjamin will come soon! :) love you lots!

Wait! I forgot to "comment" on the entryway. It's beautiful--the construction and the garland!
